Operation Immunization was collaboratively developed by APhA-ASP and the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) to spread education about immunizations and provide increased opportunities for vaccinations. Operation Immunization strives to increase the public’s knowledge of immunizations while also increasing the number of adults who receive immunizations.

Our Operation Immunization team works hard to innovate new educational programming for children and adults in our Houston Community. We also attend flu shot clinics throughout the year, administering vaccines to adults. Operation Immunization collaborates with other operations, as well as intraprofessional organizations to provide these things.

Operation Immunization has already started this year off strong. At the Mayor’s Back 2 School Fest, held on University of Houston’s campus. Operation Immunization also plans to participate in a number of Flu Shot Clinics and school visits, like they did last year.
